Developing does not mean printing.

In the Philippines, some of us say "pa-develop" to mean to request for a print service. We usually hear this from our lolos, lolas, titos, and titas. While it is understandable that this concept of "develop" started during the time when there was no digital camera yet, we have to make it clear today that 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀.

We have been receiving a lot of messages about people wanting us to "develop" their films. Some would say they want their films scanned only, without developing. Unfortunately, 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴. And for us to save everyone's time, we hope this post reaches you!
